The debt ceiling has been raised more under Republican presidents than Democratic ones. Dems voted along with Republicans to raise the debt ceiling THREE times under Trump. This should not be a negotiation. America pays its debts.
The Republican Default on America Act would lead us closer to recession and negatively impact people’s daily lives.
Republicans don’t care about debt. They want to create a recession to hurt Biden.
