The Biden-Harris Administration continues to make the climate crisis a priority. This week the White House announced it will:
- Direct federal agencies to factor in climate related costs into their budgeting.
- Launch through the EPA a $4.6 billion grant competition for states to cut climate pollution and advance environmental justice.
- Launch the American Climate Corps, a New Deal-style initiative to give young people the training necessary to begin careers in clean energy and a climate resilience economy, in order to create pathways to good paying green jobs for the next generation.
