Project 2025, the Trump/Republican blueprint, calls for repealing the Biden/Harris signature program, the Inflation Reduction Act. Since the IRA passed, clean tech investment has risen to $70 billion per quarter, good news for both the economy and the planet. And it has especially benefited red states—green manufacturing investment in Republican states has increased by 84%.
In addition to touting the biggest investments in clean energy, the IRA has also enabled Medicare to negotiate with Big Pharma, resulting in lower prescription drug prices. Project 2025 would repeal the IRA’s Medicare Drug Price Negotiation Program.
