On the campaign trail, Trump refuted claims that he was associated or even familiar with Project 2025, the extreme right wing blueprint for giving unchecked power to the next Republican President. Yet in his first month he has signed executive orders and begun taking actions that are straight out of the 900 page document. Many of them were signed on Day 1.

Guided by Project 2025, Trump is dismantling protections within our health system. Action taken so far includes but is not limited to:
- Executive order to reverse healthcare protections based on gender identity. Will not support transitioning for minors in any way. (Page 475)
- Executive order to restrict abortion care in the US, including banning Federal funds to programs that discuss abortion as a choice in family planning counseling. (Page 450, Page 471)
- Reverse Biden EO that prohibits healthcare discrimination based on pregnancy (to cover abortion). (Page 475)
- Executive Order that erases recognition of transgender and nonbinary communities. (Page 475)
- Silence CDC: CDC delayed the release of information and findings on bird flu in the agency’s Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report. (Page 454)
