The GOP is Dismantling the ACA Piece by Piece
ACA (Obamacare) gave an additional 20 million Americans health insurance. The GOP is taking it away from 70% of them by:
- Removing enhanced tax credits (set to expire at year end)
- Forcing insurance providers to increase premiums by 18%
- People will not be able to afford health insurance so they will be forced to drop out of ACA
A 55 year old couple making $85k a year will see their health insurance spike from $7k a year to $24k a year. There is no way they will be able to afford that.
