  • There are 989 billionaires in the US, worth $9 trillion
  • In 1970, the pay ratio between the top 100 CEOs and the average worker was 45 to 1. Today it is 829 to 1 
  • These are policy choices​: minimum wage stagnation, tax codes that benefit the rich, deregulation, weakened worker protections
